GARRY CAIRNS TRIBUTE
Sadly, fellow Arab and good friend Garry Cairns past away on Friday
31st December, 2010. Garry went to his first United match in 1985, and had travelled on our Supporters Club on several occassions over the years, eventually becoming a regular member in 2005, and was with us for the next five years until his untimely passing. After missing United's Scottish Cup win in 1994, there is the smallest comfort to know that he witnessed his beloved United lift the trophy again in May 2010 before he died.
Garry was a good family man, and brought along his partner Lynn, and his Mum and Dad, to many United games over the years, and who know's maybe one day we'll seen Garry's little boy Cruz carrying on his Dad's passion. Garry was also a great laugh and has left us all with some very amusing memories.
As with our other lost comrade Davie McCulloch, Garry's Fan Profile page will remain on our website forever, in tribute to our lost friend.
